The battery
Five modules, each reported on the same 1 to 10 Sten scale so your team can read results side by side.
Co-ordination
About 4 minutes. Hand-eye coordination and fine motor control, keeping a ball centred on a tilting plate.
See the moduleMATS
About 12 minutes. Multi-tasking: cockpit monitoring, obstacle avoidance, cognitive questions and radio calls at the same time.
See the moduleMaths
30 minutes. Numerical reasoning across three difficulty levels, from foundation arithmetic to advanced problems.
See the moduleCognitive
30 minutes, 36 questions. Numerical, verbal, spatial, abstract, perceptual speed and working memory.

-
Get your portal
We set up a portal for your organisation with the modules you choose, a seat limit, how long accounts stay valid and how many attempts each module allows.
-
Add candidates
Add candidates one at a time or in a batch, group them into exam days, and print or reprint their login sheets.
-
Candidates check their setup
Before Co-ordination and MATS, each candidate runs a short system check that confirms their screen and controls are ready.
-
Watch the round
Your portal shows who is sitting now, who has started but not finished, and who has completed each module.
-
Review and decide
Download a PDF report for each candidate and module, or export the whole cohort as a CSV. Selection decisions stay with your team.
Safeguards on the day
- A refresh or a dropped connection during Maths, Physics or Cognitive brings back the same paper and the same answers, and the clock keeps running.
- Those tests are timed from the server, so a wrong clock on the candidate's computer changes nothing.
- A candidate account can be signed in on one device at a time.
- Every Co-ordination and MATS result carries its test version, so results from different versions are never mixed up.
- You can lock one input mode for the whole cohort, so every candidate is tested with the same controls.
- Any module can be reset for a candidate with a recorded reason, and every reset appears in an activity log.
What the scores mean, and what they do not
AviMetric reports a Sten from 1 to 10 with five bands: Low, Below Average, Average, Above Average and High Excellent. The bands are fixed score ranges. They show where a result sits on the scale. They are not a ranking against other candidates.
The version 2 scale is provisional and will be calibrated as real results build up. AviMetric does not pass or fail candidates. Read the score guide for the plain-language version.
Reports
Each module produces a PDF report with Sten scores, colour bands, performance graphs and a short written interpretation. Reports carry your organisation's name and logo.
Questions
Can candidates sit the tests remotely?
The tests run in a web browser, so a candidate can sit them anywhere with a suitable device. AviMetric does not include remote invigilation, so for a supervised selection round run the sitting at your own centre or under your own supervision.
Which controls does the Co-ordination test support?
Joystick with rudder pedals, joystick with keyboard, mouse with keyboard, or keyboard only. Your organisation can lock one input mode for the whole cohort.
Does AviMetric decide who passes?
No. AviMetric reports scores and bands. Your selection team makes every decision.
How is institutional pricing set?

What support do we get?
Support is available from 8am to 10pm IST by email and WhatsApp.
Where is candidate data stored?
In a database hosted in Singapore. The Security and data page explains who can see it and how long it is kept.
