Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information AviMetric collects when you use the platform, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and how it is protected. It applies to every visitor, registered user, and paying customer of AviMetric, worldwide.

By using AviMetric, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

To operate the platform, enforce the single-user licence on each account, and prevent credential sharing, AviMetric collects the following information each time you use the platform:

• IP address and approximate geographic location (city, region, country, latitude/longitude)
• Internet service provider (ISP)
• Browser type, version, and operating system/platform
• Screen resolution, colour depth, and device pixel ratio
• Timezone
• Device fingerprint — a cryptographic hash derived from browser and system characteristics
• Hardware fingerprint — a separate hash derived from GPU renderer, GPU vendor, canvas rendering output, CPU core count, device memory, media device count, and touch point capability, designed to identify the same physical device even across different browsers or incognito sessions
• Login timestamps, session duration, and test activity (start, complete, module)
• Account information you provide directly: full name, username, centre/organisation name (if applicable), and email address
• If you make a payment: order/transaction reference, amount, and payment status. AviMetric does not itself collect or store your card, UPI, or bank details — these are handled directly by our payment processor

Your information is used solely to:

• Create and manage your account, and grant access to the modules you have purchased or been assigned
• Enforce the single-session, single-device licence and detect account sharing
• Process and verify payments, and send order confirmations and login credentials
• Generate your performance reports, scores, and PDF results
• Investigate disputes, abuse, or policy violations
• Improve the platform through aggregate, non-identifying analytics

Account and activity data is retained for the duration of your account plus 90 days after account expiry, after which it may be deleted or anonymised. Payment records are retained for as long as required by applicable tax and accounting law.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party. Information is shared only with:

• Our payment processor, to complete and verify your purchase
• Our infrastructure providers (hosting, database, and email delivery), solely to operate the platform
• Legal or regulatory authorities, where required by law

In the event of a dispute regarding account sharing or a payment, collected data may be used as evidence to support enforcement or refund-eligibility decisions.

AviMetric uses browser local storage and session storage to remember your theme preference and to keep you signed in during an active session. These are functional and do not track you across other websites. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct inaccurate information, or request deletion of your account and associated data (subject to our legal and accounting retention requirements) by emailing avimetric1@gmail.com.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of AviMetric after any change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
